The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the fixtures for the highly anticipated ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, set to take place from February 19 to March 9 across Pakistan and the UAE. This prestigious event will feature 15 matches between 8 teams, marking the return of the Champions Trophy after its last edition in 2017. Defending champions Pakistan will host the tournament alongside the UAE as a neutral venue.
The action-packed 19-day competition will see Bangladesh, India, New Zealand, and Pakistan competing in Group A, while Afghanistan, Australia, England, and South Africa will form Group B. Matches will be held at three stadiums in Pakistan: Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi, with Dubai as the host venue in the UAE. Fans are encouraged to register for tickets ahead of the sale.
The tournament kicks off on February 19 with Pakistan facing New Zealand in Karachi. Other key fixtures include Bangladesh versus India in Dubai on February 20, and Pakistan taking on India on February 23 in Dubai. The event will feature one of the most anticipated rivalries in cricket: Australia versus England on February 22 in Lahore.
The first semi-final will be held in Dubai on March 4, followed by the second semi-final in Lahore on March 5. If India reaches the final, it will be played in Dubai, otherwise, the final will be hosted at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on March 9. Both semi-finals and the final will have reserve days.
ICC Chairman, Jay Shah, expressed excitement about the return of the Champions Trophy, noting its significance for global cricket, with Pakistan and Dubai as the key locations. Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, also highlighted the importance of the event for the country, emphasizing Pakistan’s commitment to promoting cricket and ensuring a memorable tournament experience.
