Usman Qadir Relocates to Australia for Better Future After Retirement

Former Pakistan leg-spinner Usman Qadir has relocated to New South Wales, Australia, in pursuit of new opportunities following his retirement from Pakistan cricket in October 2024. Currently playing for Hawkesbury Cricket Club in Sydney, Qadir is determined to rebuild his career in Australian cricket.

Reflecting on his career and retirement, Qadir expressed gratitude for the support of his coaches and teammates. Despite a promising start with the Pakistan national team, his journey was marred by inconsistency and off-field challenges. Before representing Pakistan, Usman had ties to Australia, playing for Western Australia and featuring in the Big Bash League for Perth Scorchers and Sydney Thunder.

With hopes of a brighter future, Qadir is optimistic about the opportunities awaiting him in Australia, with plans for his family to join him soon.
